Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms govern your access to and use of EzyVid and ScreenRecorder (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 16 (or the minimum legal age in your region) and capable of forming a binding contract. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Software Licenses

Purchases grant you a license to use the software as described at purchase (annual or perpetual). Licenses are personal, non-transferable, and subject to these Terms. Use at your own risk; we do not monitor or store your creative content.

4. Payments & Refunds

Payments are handled by Stripe. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once the license or subscription term begins. If you believe there’s a billing error, contact us within 14 days.

5. Trials

Trials are “as is.” At trial end, continued use requires purchase.

6. Acceptable Use

• No unlawful activity or IP infringement; do not use the software to rip, copy, or distribute content you do not own or have rights to.
• No unauthorized access, disruption, or circumvention of license controls.
• No reverse-engineering beyond what’s permitted by law.

7. Intellectual Property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service and software. You receive only the rights expressly granted in these Terms.

8. Updates & Changes

We may update the Service or software. Material changes to these Terms will be posted with a new “Last updated” date; continued use means acceptance.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third parties (e.g., Stripe, Supabase); their terms and policies apply to their services.

10. Disclaimers

The Service and software are provided “as is” without warranties, express or implied. Use at your own risk. You acknowledge you are solely responsible for how you capture, edit, record, distribute, or otherwise use any content created with our tools. We do not control, monitor, or vet your outputs and assume no responsibility for any misuse, infringement, or unlawful activity.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data/revenue/profits. Total liability is limited to amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate for breach or legal compliance. You may stop using the Service at any time. Relevant sections survive termination.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

Specify your chosen jurisdiction/venue (e.g., “laws of [X], courts of [Y]”). Add arbitration if you require it.
